Representatives from Mauritania, Peru, Denmark, Oman, the Czech Republic, Kuwait, Pakistan, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia all expressed condolences and praised the late president’s accomplishments, notably his humanitarian efforts, on behalf of their respective regional groupings.
